Improvement Training

What is QSIR?

The Quality, Service Improvement and Redesign (QSIR) programme is an improvement training programme that has been delivered over many years to staff involved in healthcare. Training is available for all staff, clinical and non-clinical and there are different training programmes to suit different levels of improvement experience.

Training is supported by material and publications that will guide you in the use of tried and tested improvement tools and encourage reflective learning.

What training courses are available?

We have a number of training packages available for all staff within the organisation and these are:

Additional QI training programmes

The following are additional QI training programmes that can be tailored to the needs of services and staff to support and develop improvement projects:

QI Jump-Start sessions

QI Jump-Start sessions tailored to individual services to help start an improvement project using the fundamental principles of QSIR.

The aim of QI Jump-Start session is to support services with identifying the problem they want to change, developing a SMART aim statement and discussing what improvement would look like. These sessions will signpost services to QI tools that will help support and develop improvement projects.

QI Coaching

Coaching sessions are available to support staff members undergoing their associate assessments and/or to provide support for staff with their improvement projects to help maximise the potential success of an improvement project using an action learning approach.

Testimonials

We have received some fantastic feedback from staff completing the QSIR Practitioner course and would like to thank Cameron Clark for putting together a short video with testimonials from some of the delegates who completed Cohort 3.

We hope the video inspires you to join one of the available QSIR courses.
